? Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry / Cardiac PCU
? Location: Rockford, IL
? Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend & Holiday
? Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
We are actively seeking an experienced RN to join our Cardiac Telemetry / Stroke & Neuro Unit. This is a Step-Down/Cardiac PCU role requiring a strong cardiac background and the ability to manage complex neurological and telemetry patients.
? Requirements:
Current RN license in Illinois
Minimum of 1–2 years of recent cardiac step-down or telemetry experience
Certifications Required: (BLS)
ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza
? Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Utilize the nursing process in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
Administer medications and treatments per hospital policy and nursing standards
Create and implement patient care plans in accordance with physician orders
Provide education and support to patients and their families
Maintain thorough and timely documentation of care provided
Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives, including shared governance
Provide clinical guidance to other departments regarding patient care plans
Use critical thinking to enhance patient safety and elevate concerns as needed
