MRI Technologist – Radiology

Shift: 8-Hour Evenings (Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
Schedule: Some call required, holiday rotation, weekend shifts optional
Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 days)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week

Facility & Department:

• Acute Care Hospital – Radiology (MRI)
• 2 MRI scanners at the main hospital + 3 at outpatient clinics
• Equipment:
  • Main Hospital: GE 1.5T & 3T
  • Outpatient Clinics: Philips & Hitachi

Requirements:

• ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI
• BLS for Healthcare Workers (N95 fit test required)
• WA State Radiologic Technologist License required only if ARRT certified in X-Ray or CT
• IV insertion skills required
• Preferred: MRI experience in Cardiac, Breast, and Breast Biopsy
• Minimum: Ability to perform Brain, Neck, Spine, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Breast, Cardiac, Prostate, MSK imaging, and handle patients with implanted devices

Systems Used:

• EPIC EMR
• Sectra PACS

Additional Info:

• Radiology aides assist MRI technologists
• In-house radiologists available
• Average volume: 28 scans/day
• Hospital provides scrubs only for OR staff; personal scrubs otherwise
• Must be able to float to other sites if operationally needed
