**Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Day Shift position in Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with at least 18 months of permanent experience in their specialty prior to travel. This exciting opportunity allows you to play a vital role in patient care with comprehensive support from our team.

**Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients - Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Participate in the orientation and onboarding of new staff and travelers - Adhere to all facility protocols, including patient safety standards and regulatory requirements

**Job Requirements:** - **License:** Must have a permanent Ohio nursing license at the time of submission. Compact licenses accepted for starts on or after January 1, 2023. - **Experience:** Minimum of 18 months of experience in the specialty required prior to travel. - **References:** Must provide two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty area, with one being from the past 12 months. Travel references from the most recent assignment are also required. - **Certifications:** All required certifications must be active and up to date; no pending qualifications will be accepted. - **Background Check:** Background checks will be conducted, and any open cases will disqualify candidates.

**Important Compliance:** - A negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen is required within 12 months of the start date and must be updated annually. - Candidates must adhere to a strict no-nicotine policy unless exempted as specified.

**Additional Information:** - Candidates will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate during orientation, achieving an acceptable score on both assessments is mandatory. - There is a DO NOT call policy in place for this facility.
