**Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN - Night Shift**

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical telemetery unit. This is a 3x12-hour shift opportunity, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Med/Surg telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and ECG rhythms, interpreting the data to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately in the charting system.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding their care and concerns.

**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing prior to applying.
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact state license required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with the ability to pass on the first attempt.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle a patient ratio effectively.
- Previous charge experience is a plus.

**Additional Information:**
- Must be able to comply with a strict no call policy and other facility-specific regulations.
- Candidates must undergo a background check and fingerprinting as a part of the hiring process.
- Training modules are required pre-start and on an annual basis, and applicants should be prepared for potential billable time related to these modules.
