We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med-Surg Telemetry Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team for a night shift opportunity. This position involves working four 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with the inclusion of weekends and holidays as needed.

**Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive care to patients on a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit, managing a patient ratio of 1:6. - Administer medications and drips, including insulin, heparin, and Lasik, with a high level of proficiency. - Evaluate patient conditions and respond to changes in status, making critical decisions in a fast-paced environment. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs, and unit clerks. - Float to similar acuity units as necessary based on census demands.

**Requirements:** - Current and valid RN license. - BLS and ACLS certifications required. - Proficient in electronic health record systems (specific charting system experience is a plus). - Must have previous charge experience and travel nursing experience. - Ability to provide care for a diverse patient population with conditions such as cardiac issues, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal disorders, general surgery, and orthopedics. - Compliance with all healthcare protocols and practices.

**Additional Information:** - Must be able to provide a recent Nursys report with the submission. - Pre-approval of time off must be noted at the time of application. - Education verification is required at the time of submission—please provide documentation of relevant degrees.
