- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week (must be indicated on submission)

Job Summary
As an RN in the Emergency Department, you will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will monitor and coordinate patient care activities and ensure the comfort and safety of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups.
- Collaborate with ancillary departments to optimize patient care.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
- Participate in health education and support for patients and families.
Requirements
- Licensure: Current RN License in Missouri.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) – must obtain prior to start.
- Experience:
- 1 year in a Level 1 Emergency Department or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility.
Working Conditions
- Stand and walk most of the time on duty.
- Lift and push patients; physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Clean, air-conditioned working environment.

- Flu Vaccination: Required for all travelers from November 1 - April 1 (no exemptions).
- Dress Code: Black scrubs; professional attire required.
