LanceSoft is seeking a travel Dosimetrist for a travel job in Los Angeles, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Dosimetrist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/02/2025 Duration: 24 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements: Dosimetrist with 3 or more years of experience that's proficient with 3D, IMRT, and VMAT planning in Eclipse. We will accept first time travelers if they have prior experience working as a dosimetrist. Scheudule-08:00-17:00 -Mon-Friday |No weekend or call requirements. CMD certification is required. Certification by the American Board of Medical Dosimetry Education: Baccalaureate degree or higher •Knowledgeable in the operation of radiotherapy equipment, including linear accelerators, cobalt teletherapy units, simulators, dosimetric equipment, brachytherapy equipment, computerized treatment planning systems, and record and verification/patient information management systems. •Proficient in external beam and brachytherapy treatment planning. •Ability to perform and analyze in-vivo and in-phantom measurements. •Knowledgeable of current radiotherapy treatment techniques. •Ability to assess and plot radiation dose distributions. •Skill in providing treatment planning and dose-calculation services for patient treatment and diagnosis with external, interstitial, intracavitary, and distributed internal sources. •Knowledge of the principles of radiation safety and Health Physics. •Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, clinical oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics. #K4 #K7 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
