*The Transportation Manager will have full responsibility for the people, processes and performance of the final mile operation. They will be responsible for maintaining all 3PL contractor relationships for the operation as well as the customer relationship including location personnel and external customers. The Operations Manager will execute processes designed to produce deliverables at levels that meet the client(s) expectations as a means to retain and grow our competitive position as a company.*

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
*The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:*
* *Day-to-day management and execution of deliverables to achieve business goals and objectives*
* *Assign tasks, coach, develop and take corrective action with direct reports as appropriate*
* *Ensure administrative tasks are assigned and/or completed on-time including but not limited to daily route assignments, daily billing entries, daily recap spreadsheets, etc*
* *Ensure compliance is met on daily/weekly billing in accordance with SOP provided by SFM leadership*
* *Maintain timely email and phone communication with client(s) and SFM leadership*
* *Maintain protocols (i.e. standby teams) to prevent gaps in service such as dropped routes*
* *Perform daily loadout stand-ups with all delivery teams discussing performance, opportunities, incentives, safety and more*
* *Maintain positive ongoing relationships with external customers, location managers and operators*
* *Foster positive working relationships with contract drivers, helpers and the client*
* *Provide weekly performance feedback to contractors & enforce performance-based dispatching as a means to achieve KPI goals including survey scores, on-time delivery, call-ahead compliance and more*
* *Complete 3-5+ ride-behinds (Field Audits) per month assessing categories listed on Field Audit Form provided by director*
* *Coordinate cross-team learning opportunities and exchange of ideas*
* *Maintain compliance with property damage claim SOP in accordance with services agreement*
* *Actively participate in weekly Wayfair performance call for their location*
* *Actively participate in weekly internal leadership call(s)*
* *Participate in continuous recruiting, relationship building and on-boarding 3PL contractors*
* *Assist compliance department in monitoring compliance standards for motor carriers in their area of responsibility*
* *Participate in delivery team incentive program(s) as approved by leadership*
* *Demonstrate skill sets with industry standard technology and systems utilized by client(s) and SFM including mobile technology (handhelds), computers, microsoft office, google suite, routing software etc.*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
