This position will prepare incumbents to promote to a Bus Driver or Bus Driver/Utility Worker. Trainees will receive instruction and learn to drive a school bus to transport students safely and efficiently to assigned locations; assure safety of vehicles by performing daily safety inspections and cleaning duties. Assists grounds and maintenance personnel; performs general custodial work and other related duties as assigned. Trainees must complete all prerequisite training within the first three months of employment.
