New Tech Global is seeking a Tooling Manager for a client in Northvale, NJ. This is a direct hire position offering a base salary of $90-95k. Main Responsibilities Analyze blueprints, specifications and material requirements to determine optimal design and production methods. Collaborate with engineers, machinists and production personnel to ensure quality and functionality of tools. Design and create precision tools, dies, molds, and fixtures. Use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauge blocks, to measure and inspect finished tools. Maintain accurate records of tool design, production and performance. Name 2-3 things that this person may occasionally do Adhere to safety, quality and production standards. Troubleshoot issues with tools and recommend repairs or modifications. Qualifications High School diploma required. A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in manufacturing. In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics. Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes. Experience with quality control analysis. Excellent attention to detail. Advanced troubleshooting skills.
