Position: Technical Product Manager Location: Hamden, CT Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, HS Wire, etc.). Our products help enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations worldwide and are currently seeking a Product Manager to join our Spectra-Strip team located in Hamden, CT. Responsibilities: The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and market Amphenol’s High Speed Cable product family. This role involves promoting products, winning new design opportunities, and developing/executing product strategies to support product development and NPI teams in portfolio management. Manage P&L for all product families across wire and cable categories. Drive high-speed, high-data product lines through: Product roadmap creation and execution Production ramp-up planning Cost, pricing, and margin management Product portfolio management Product development process oversight Conduct cost modeling to develop cost targets, implement cost reductions, and define pricing strategies. Drive new business opportunities, aligning business and sales strategies. Define customer and market requirements, timing, and forecasts. Work with marketing, engineering, business development, and operations to identify gaps and define market requirements. Develop marketing materials and promote products at industry events and to potential customers. Coordinate with HSIO Cable and CBS teams on wire development and go-to-market activities. Achieve site KPIs related to sales revenue, product margins, design wins, and response times. Travel may be required for customer visits, sales training, factory visits, and trade shows. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with strong business acumen. At least 4 years of experience in product management, project management, engineering, or technical business development. 1-3 years of experience in the interconnect industry. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power-BI or other data visualization tools. Ability to work with global cross-functional teams and a hands-on approach.
