As a Teaching Assistant at Tender Learning Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting our classrooms. You will work collaboratively with lead teachers to ensure a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for our learners. Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education are essential for this role. Compensation: $18 - $25 hourly Responsibilities: Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing daily activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Provide individualized attention to children, supporting their unique needs and interests. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, following health and safety guidelines. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Support children during mealtime, nap time, and other daily routines. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Previous experience working with children in a daycare or other setting required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). EEC Teacher Certification (Preferred) A nurturing and patient demeanor, with a passion for early childhood education.
