Our Private Client Services practice is one of the largest practices in New England, servicing clients both locally and nationally. Our client base is made up of multi-generation family clients that make use of some the most sophisticated tax planning structures to minimize income, gift and estate taxes, along with charitable planning. Many of our PCS clients maintain their own multi-employee Family Office to manage the Family wealth. This practice also works with some of the largest investment advisory firms and estate and trust law Firms, both locally and nationally. It is our goal to develop strong and long lasting relationships with our clients, as a trusted advisor.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
* Supervise all aspects of accounting, tax or audit engagements for clients including status updates to
engagement managers and adhere to all quality control standards as required * Develop a thorough understanding of the client's business, contributing to the analysis and planning of
client engagements * Adhere to engagement budget constraints and complete assigned tasks within the time requested,
explain variances when needed * Achieve charge hour goals * Review engagement team members' accounting, tax or auditing work: provide constructive review points * Supervise and guide team members on engagements, fostering a collaborative and productive work
environment * Train and mentor engagement team members, supporting their technical and professional development * Assist in the client billing process with Managers, Directors or Managing Directors * Identify an industry or area of specialization and develop skills, knowledge and expertise in that area * Leverage industry knowledge and business acumen blending cross serve opportunities into client
engagements * Participate in practice development activities, such as membership in qualified organizations, capable of
referring potential engagements * Execute administrative duties as assigned * Additional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing/tax standards to effectively supervise staff and solve routing engagement problems. * Experience with accounting software, Caseware preferred. * Solid organization skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred * At least 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field * 1 year supervisory experience preferred * CPA candidates preferred * Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as
necessary * Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both
internally and externally * Proficient use of applicable technology * Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $90,000 - $140,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skillset of the individual selected for this position. Outside of base compensation there are opportunities for - Commissions and/or Annual Bonuses (variable depending on firm and associate performance).
