As we expand our tax resolution, estate planning, and wealth preservation services, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a firm known for delivering integrated, high-impact legal and financial solutions across tax, estate, real estate, bankruptcy, and complex business law.In this role, you'll work with a diverse client base-including high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and nonprofit organizations-on matters ranging from tax controversy and litigation to multi-generational estate planning and asset protection. Your work will span from negotiating with the IRS and California taxing authorities to crafting forward-looking estate and tax strategies that reduce exposure, preserve wealth, and align with client goals.Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning vehicles-such as revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, charitable planning, and family limited partnerships-is highly preferred and will distinguish top candidates..Key Focus AreasIRS and state collections, audit, and appeals representation, including direct negotiation with revenue officers, appeals agents, and agency counselLegal drafting for Tax Court petitions, estate plans, trust instruments, settlement proposals, and advisory memorandaResearch and resolution of complex tax and estate issues involving foreign disclosures, pass-throughs, trusts, probate, and business successionStrategic estate and tax planning in coordination with real estate, probate, and corporate counselYou'll work closely with the Managing Partner, an Associate Attorney, a CPA, and legal professionals in a multidisciplinary environment that values client advocacy, precise execution, and proactive problem-solving.We are a collaborative, boutique firm where legal sophistication meetspersonalized attention.
