The Tax Analyst is responsible for analyzing, reviewing, reporting and communicating tax information. Completes reviews, reconciliations, and resolutions in compliance with regulations and requirements for the relevant jurisdiction. Ensures work is error free and responds to internal and external finance and audit teams. Works within deadlines and deliverables.
* Assist with the Canadian and other tax compliance activities including preparing the corporate and information returns, gathering information for the corporate tax return process and preparing reconciliations to accounting records. * Supports the transfer pricing implementation and documentation requirements such as the CBC notifications, CbC Report, Master and Local files, intercompany agreements, etc. * Assists with the quarterly tax provision process * Assists with tax audits (internal and external). * Performs research and prepare memos relating to changes in tax laws and tax accounting guidance. * 1-2 years of corporate tax experience is preferred. * Working knowledge of Canadian and other Income Tax and willingness to learn. * Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls under Sarbanes Oxley.
