Make a difference as a Systems Engineer - Senior LevelAs a Senior-level Systems Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, you will lead engineering teams in a multi-discipline approach, ensuring timely and accurate GEOINT across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. Your role will guide Mid-level and Junior-level engineers in various domains, including requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and systems integration. By analyzing user needs and cloud service capabilities, you will drive improvements in existing systems and help develop innovative solutions that leverage new technology. You will conduct critical analyses, such as Trade Studies and Engineering Assessments, while supporting strategic planning and project management.
Your TS/SCI clearance will be essential as you collaborate across organizational boundaries, integrating multiple systems and processes to enhance overall mission success. Are you the Systems Engineer - Senior Level we're looking for?To excel as a Senior-level Systems Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, a diverse skill set is essential for navigating complex geospatial intelligence challenges. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are crucial for guiding Mid-level and Junior-level engineers through requirements engineering, solutions design, and systems integration. Excellent communication skills will facilitate collaboration with various stakeholders, including the Government and mission partners, to translate needs into actionable systems and capability requirements.
A deep understanding of Hyperspectral Imaging (HSI) and experience supporting NGA/NRO will enhance your strategic planning and risk management capabilities. Additionally, strong leadership qualities will empower you to mentor and guide team members effectively. You must demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation that aligns with our customer-centric mission.
Your TS/SCI clearance will further enable you to perform at a high level while integrating multiple systems across organizational boundaries.
Required Skills and Experience:
- TS/SCI active clearance.
- Experience integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools, Hyperspectral Imaging (HSI).
- Direct Experience supporting NGA/NRO and/or mission partners.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.
- Senior-level or higher experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
- Experience with and understanding of systems engineering.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and
- Working knowledge of Digital Engineering, processes, and
- Working knowledge of Software Development
- INCOSE Certified Systems engineering Professional (CSEP)
- Documented work experience in the field of geospatial
- Licensure as a professional
- Membership or leadership participation in any of the following professional organizations:
- ACSM
- ASCE
- ASPRS
- OGC
- SAREM
- USGIF
- Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO.
- Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience.
- Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
