The Systems Administrator maintains and administers computer networks and equipment to ensure optimal performance in and fast recovery from emergency situations. The incumbent ensures effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software, and related infrastructure.
Department Specific Functions
Infrastructure & Identity Services
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user/computer objects and security group assignments
• Develop and enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for device security, firewall, kiosk, and user configurations
• Support partner departments with policy implementation and troubleshooting
• Oversee on-premises infrastructure related to domain-joined workstations
Endpoint Management & Imaging
• Design, maintain, and deploy task sequences using Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) for Windows 10/11 (on-prem and cloud-based)
• Develop and maintain boot media, WinPE tools, and hardware-specific driver packages
• Manage operating system patching, software update points, WSUS, and Automatic Deployment Rules
• Monitor patch compliance and report on deployment status
• Utilize Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro to onboard and manage cloud-based Windows, iOS, and macOS devices
• Maintain cloud-specific configurations, compliance policies, and encryption enforcement
• Generate custom reports and scripts for device status and lifecycle management
Software Packaging & Configuration
• Package and maintain enterprise software including antivirus, LAPS, Alertus, SnapComms, and others
• Develop and support Software Center (SCCM) and self-service application delivery
• Configure and support standard desktop settings (client policies, screen lock, maintenance windows)
• Implement and support specialized workstation configurations (e.g., kiosks, Zoom Rooms, digital signage)
Automation & Scripting
• Build and maintain automation scripts for:
o Active Directory computer object cleanup
o SCCM log and deployment cleanup
o Intune group tagging and reporting
o Eracent integrations (LUTs, warranty lookups, shutdown automation)
• Develop scripting solutions to streamline endpoint deployment, reporting, and compliance
Remote Support & Endpoint Tools
• Administer Tanium for endpoint remediation, patching, and configuration enforcement
• Manage BeyondTrust (Bomgar) for remote support, Jump Clients, and access policies
• Oversee Deep Freeze consoles and develop configurations for varied use cases
Asset Management & Documentation
• Use Eracent for hardware/software inventory and lifecycle reporting
• Author and maintain technical documentation for imaging, cloud management, SCCM, and support processes
• Collaborate with Desktop Support to implement new solutions and support escalated issue

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
