MANTECH seeks a motivated, career-oriented System Administrator to join our team in Hanover, Maryland .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems Manage IT system infrastructure and processes related to those systems. Deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning Conduct detailed troubleshooting and provide in-depth IT system support Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems; install/load OS software, maintain integrity, and configure network components Administer and maintain compliance with customer system security requirements including updates, patching, and reporting on hardware and software components

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; an additional 5 years of SA experience might be substituted for a degree 10+ years of experience as a System Administrator (SA) on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity Experience implementing, operating, and monitoring TS/SCI systems Experience with automated data backup systems Experience implementing and managing Linux/Windows environments Experience managing virtualized platforms such as VMware ESXi or vSphere

Security Clearance Requirements: Active/Current TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, kneel, and reach as needed Capable of lifting to 20 lbs. Requires walking and performing repetitive motions Able to perform sedentary tasks and use a PC and standard office tools for extended periods
