Our client, a leader in security technology, is seeking a Surveillance & Access Control Technician to join their team. As a Surveillance & Access Control Technician, you will be part of the technical support team, ensuring the safety and security of facilities through advanced surveillance and access control systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to technology, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Support, install, and design surveillance and access control systems.

Manage network cabling, structured wiring, and physical technology installations.

Travel statewide to remote sites, driving a state fleet vehicle or personal vehicle with expensed mileage costs.

Collaborate with team members to integrate facilities systems with IT network services.

Ensure compliance with state, local, or federally funded IT infrastructure projects.

What's Needed?

5+ years of experience in access control, surveillance, telecommunications, network infrastructure, life-safety, or building automation technology and systems.

Experience supporting, installing, and designing surveillance or access control systems.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and access mechanical spaces as needed.

Experience with Avigilon, Exacq, Axis, Software House, or CURE 9000 is a plus.
