Summary: We are seeking a general orthopedic surgeon for a 3-6 month locum assignment in Prescott, Arizona. This position is essential to cover gaps in care as new providers onboard at a facility that supports both clinic and surgical procedures. The setting includes a clinic with state-of-the-art support staff including Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and front office personnel. • Conduct general orthopedic surgeries and provide clinic care.
• Manage patient flow effectively, with an expectation of seeing approximately 15 patients per day in clinic and 6-10 surgical cases.
• Participate in call shifts as required, providing support during nights and holidays.
• Utilize the Cerner electronic medical record system for patient documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure cohesive patient care.

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Completion of residency and/or fellowship in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Demonstrated experience in both clinic and surgical settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Current Arizona state medical license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) is required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration.
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
