Opportunity: PA-C - Cardiovascular

This is a full-time locum tenens position for a Physician Assistant with cardiovascular experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical assistance and endoscopic vein harvesting skills. This role offers the opportunity to work with an established cardiovascular team in a well-respected healthcare setting.

Job Details:

• Full-time position: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Potential for weekend call (12 or 24 hour shifts)
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience required
• OR experience required
• Active CA License and Active CA DEA required
• PA-C certification mandatory
• Preferred candidate will have General Surgery/OR experience
• Average patient load: 5-6 encounters per shift
• Anticipated credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
• ACLS and BLS certifications required

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice insurance included. Overtime applies after 8 hours per day (with pre-approval required). Travel reimbursement includes airport parking, approved transportation between assignment locations, and other standard travel expenses.
