If you are a talented and experienced Structural Engineer, Gezamin Manuel, Recruitment Consultant at David Aplin Group has partnered with our client to recruit a Structural Engineer for their growing team.

Responsibilities: With your technical competence in design and project presentation, you will perform: Site review and assessment of existing or historic structures Review existing documentation and reporting Design of repairs of brick and stone masonry, wood, steel, and concrete structures Perform structural analysis and design of structures Preparation of details using AutoCAD Modeling in REVIT and participation in the hybrid BIM workflow environment Preparation of specifications and assembly of contract documents Construction phase site services (site visits, reports, clarifications, etc.)

Qualifications: 4 to 7 years of progressive experience working as a design engineer in a consulting office CISD security clearance or be eligible for a security clearance P.Eng designation in Ontario Interest in existing and heritage buildings Strong oral and written communication skills High level of computer literacy Practical knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT Practical knowledge of structural analysis software like SAP2000 or ETABS An interest in developing their skills in a company that prioritizes a hybrid BIM workflow environment wherever possible Experience in contract administration and site review Ability to manage and complete small jobs independently  Work Schedule: Mondays 830 to 6 pm and Fridays 830 to 1 pm Job ID:  9M401670624
