DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION Responsible for managing the acquisition and distribution of products, parts, services, and commodities (PPSC) for nutrition and food service.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.) Experience: A minimum of one years’ experience in foodservice operations. Education and Training: Body of knowledge associated with high school diploma is required. Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on customer service. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Basic math skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to perform detailed analysis. Some additional specialized coursework such as inventory control, material transportation, logistics, basic business/accounting courses and communications. License, Certification & Registration: Drivers License. Other Requirements: Strong computer skills with Microsoft office, periodically maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
