LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client in Walnut Creek, CA. This full-time direct hire opportunity offers a hybrid work environment. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for depositing receipts, transferring funds, processing settlement payments, researching outstanding checks, recording transactions, and ensuring compliance with state guidelines. This role requires 3 years of experience. This would be a great opportunity for a team player with excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities: Deposit receipts and transfer funds into the correct accounts Manage bank accounts Handle client funds Research outstanding transactions on bank reconciliations Prepare reports/analysis as requested Process settlement payments Collaborate with other departments Enter journal entries for all transactions Ensure compliance with state guidelines Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience Excellent attention to detail and accuracy ERP systems experience required Proficient with Excel and Word Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities in a high transaction environment Team player
