They are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team in Brentwood, TN. The Staff Accountant will play a vital role in the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes. Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

Manage the full cycle of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis Conduct reconciliations of bank statements, accounts and financial data Support month-end and year-end closing procedures Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify discrepancies or irregularities Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed Provide support for audits and tax filings

Staff Accountant Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
