Sr. Manager, Software Engineering, Salesforce and Data

to impact both ministry and business operations, including Salesforce, Enterprise Data Integration, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence. You will manage a software engineering team, including contractors, in the development of software, database, and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills with solid experience leading a team of software engineers. Expectations of this role:

Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions Manage and guide software engineering staff and contractors Collaborate with Product Delivery Managers, other engineering teams, and leadership Create and contribute to technical design documentation Ensure development comport with best practices, PFM policies, and IT strategy Ensure the use of approved tools, frameworks, and platforms Analyze platforms and tools and make recommendations for improvement Help manage hosting environments and use request/incident ticket tracking and project management systems as needed Qualifications:

10+ years of management experience, 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams Solid experience with Salesforce and Data Warehousing is required Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience Strong background in software development, designing data models, data integration, data warehousing, and supporting analytics Experience with GitHub, code management, merges, and deployments Experience in Agile and Waterfall environments Experience with CI/CD and DevOps processes Experience building web applications Experience building and using APIs to integrate systems and SaaS environments Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker Knowledge and practical application of open source solutions is a plus This is a remote/work-from-home position in the US with a 5% travel component; office hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST What we offer:
