Title : Speech Language Pathologist
Location : Bronx, NY (Onsite) Employment Type : Contract, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM (12-hour unpaid lunch)
Compensation Pay Range:$69169-$98813/Yrs
Description Conduct assessments of speech-language skills to identify therapy needs. Deliver speech therapy services as outlined in student IEPs. Collaborate with colleagues during team meetings. Provide training and maintain communication with parents. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation. Participate in in-service training and staff development activities. Engage in regular meetings with a supervisor.
Key Responsibilities Assess speech-language skills to determine therapy needs. Provide quality speech therapy services to students per IEP requirements. Consult and collaborate with team members during meetings. Offer training and maintain communication with parents. Complete all required documentation and paperwork. Participate in staff development and in-service training sessions. Meet regularly with supervisor for guidance and feedback.
Qualifications Possess a New York State Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities. Hold a Master's degree in speech-language pathology and/or a NYS Professional License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
