Role Motivation The Yes/Cities initiative promotes innovative urban solutions. As the program transitions to new governance, we seek a proactive Specialist to support this change and facilitate knowledge sharing across the global network.
Team Overview The team collaborates with city leaders, innovators, and civil society to co-create solutions for urban challenges, leveraging the Forum’s global reach.
Responsibilities Transition Support: Manage governance transition, support knowledge transfer, prepare stakeholder materials.
Stakeholder Engagement & Ecosystem Building: Coordinate outreach, develop engagement materials, identify support partners, update ecosystem maps.
Events: Support event planning, manage participant engagement, facilitate bilateral meetings, assist with logistics.
Global Collaboration: Coordinate with other teams, ensure visibility of local efforts, support onboarding of new cities.
Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant fields.
2+ years in project coordination, urban development, or innovation ecosystems.
Knowledge of local urban ecosystems; experience in San Francisco is a plus.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce familiarity is a plus.
Experience in knowledge management and capacity building.
Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
