Position: Special Events Emergency Medical Technician Location: Bronx, NY Starting pay $30.09 per hour and up based on your years of experience! We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians who are passionate about providing exceptional care and service to patients at special events. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the best course of action according to Paramedic protocols. Utilize medical equipment (including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, and suction devices) to deliver advanced medical care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to keep them informed and reassured during care. Lead your team on scene, ensuring effective management and coordination of emergency responses. Drive the ambulance safely during 911 responses to ensure rapid patient delivery to medical facilities. Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel for comprehensive patient care. Additional Responsibilities: Engage in community programs to foster relationships and enhance AMR’s reputation within the community. Minimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). NYS Paramedic Certification. NYC REMAC Certification. State Driver's License. BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications. Valid driving record in accordance with company policy. Successful completion of the Physical Agility Test. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Why Choose AMR?
