Position OverviewThe Solar Repair Technician Level 2 position is responsible for assisting the Solar Repair Technician Lead with repairing and maintaining roof and ground-mounted solar systems. This person will follow all company and safety policies and procedures.Essential Job Functions ? Assist in loading and unloading company vehicles ? Install, repair, and maintain rooftop and ground-mount solar PV systems including: flashing, racking, module-level power electronics (Micro inverters/Optimizers), array wiring, and junction boxes ? Work on roofs, ladders, crawlspaces, attics, and other residential and commercial areas ? Accurately pull material based on the construction plans ? Ability to fill in for Lead Installer when needed ? Basic understanding of testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting system components ? Basic understanding of schematics and ability to follow technical installation instructions ? Understand how to navigate through our work platform / CRM / and other applications ? Maintain a clean job site and work truck ? Work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment ? Interact with clients in a respectful manner ? Perform other related duties as required ? Follow all company and safety policies and procedures ? Obtain Fall protection certification from Click Safety (1.5 HR course provided by employer) ? Obtain Electrical Safety certification from Click Safety (0.4 HR course provided by employer) ? Obtain OSHA 10 safety training (course provided by employer) ?
