Sinclair Broadcast Group is hiring: On-Air Talent - Temporary in Minneapolis WUCW-TV in Minneapolis has an exciting opportunity for a part-time, as-needed, On-Air Talent position to join our station's CW Crew. We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and creative individual who can think and perform outside the box. Qualified candidates should possess strong on-air presentation skills, interpersonal communication, and be highly organized, with experience in media and broadcast environments. You will also have the opportunity to help generate and develop content for our socials and website. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Appear on camera and conduct interviews Host on-air and digital video segments Engage with local community members Represent the station at community events and on air for WUCW-TV Work closely with the Production team to identify and pitch segment ideas Stay up to date on community events Generate and develop content for our socials and website Hours: Must be available to work weekends as needed. Qualifications: Educational background or degree; experience in mass communications, journalism, or a related media-based major Strong organizational, written, verbal, and on-camera communication skills Basic knowledge of video and audio production is a plus Basic knowledge of non-linear video editing is a plus Compensation: The salary for this role is $50/hour, for 2 hours per week.
