About this Position
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for handling complex life insurance issues for both agents and clients. They are strong in managing relationships, taking ownership of issues, and are results oriented. In addition, they must serve as role models to other employees and serve as leaders within their department. They must be flexible, open to new ideas, and able to develop and promote new processes and work flows.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Acts as a subject matter expert in all areas of Life Insurance Operations Answers telephone and email inquiries for both the Field and Home Office employees Identify trends and opportunities for quality improvements Well versed in risk management, ensuring that decisions made uphold Primerica's reputation and values Conducts training for current and new associates as needed Remains current on all policies and procedures Handles calls of greater complexity that could be one-off exception processing Researches complicated issues and responds to agents and clients Protects the company's authority to do business by complying with legal and ethical standards, policies and procedures Makes operations decisions guided by policies in nonstandard situations that may impact a range of activities Able to effectively handle escalated inquires and exercise a higher level of discretion in raising to supervisory level when needed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Office programs. Specifically: PowerPoint, Excel, and Access Use unconventional thinking to initiate and support company objectives Ability to work under deadline pressure in a high volume, fast-paced environment Ability to effectively delegate, give clear directions and initiate projects Ability to meet deadlines for several simultaneous projects Able to approach tasks with an innovative mindset 12 excellent monitoring assessments of 95% or above in prior 12 months Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills Excellent organizational skills Proven role model to other employees Ownership mentality High speed internet FLSA status: This position is exempt (not eligible for overtime pay): No
