New Jersey. The firm services a diverse client base within the tri-state area providing highly personalized
and comprehensive accounting, audit, tax and business consulting services.
We’re currently seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Tax Services team. This is a key role for an experienced, self-driven professional with the potential to take on supervisory-level responsibilities.
In this role, you will:
Serve as a direct point of contact for clients — advising on tax strategies, planning opportunities, and compliance matters
Prepare complex Federal, State, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and exempt organizations
Reviewing mid-level complexity individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns prepared by tax staff for accuracy
Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff within the Tax Services Department
Stay current on evolving tax laws and industry regulations
Requirements: Applicants must possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Working towards CPA license, or CPA certification (preferred)
Having a Masters of Science in Taxation is a plus
Minimum of four (4) years of tax experience in public accounting, with a strong background in 1040s, 1120s, and 1065s
Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
Strong communication and client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships
Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Effective leadership, mentoring, and training abilities
Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with high attention to detail
Reliable transportation for occasional client or office visits
