Salary: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide legal advice on corporate and real estate tax matters, ensuring compliance and strategic tax planning. Engage in multiple practice areas, including mergers and acquisitions and nonprofit tax law. Oversee tax planning, compliance, and strategy development tailored to client-specific needs. Handle tax implications for diverse transactions and oversee tax audits to protect client interests. Drive firm growth by fostering client relationships and working collaboratively across teams. Pursue potential leadership opportunities based on demonstrated expertise and results. Minimum Position Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Valid bar admission in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain admission promptly. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax law with a strong foundation in corporate tax, real estate tax, or mergers and acquisitions. Demonstrable history of managing complex tax cases and providing actionable legal advice. Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and drafting of legal documents. Preferred Qualifications: 10 or more years of substantial tax law experience, particularly in a law firm setting. Experience with non-profit tax law is highly preferred. Proven track record of working on large, complex legal and tax transactions. Experience in client handling and developing strong professional relationships.
