We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our thriving organization. The Senior Tax Accountant will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all aspects of tax accounting and compliance. Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review corporate federal, state, and local income tax returns and ensure timely submission. 2. Conduct detailed tax research and planning, including staying updated with the latest tax laws and regulations. 3. Implement tax strategies that align with the company's business objectives and ensure compliance with all tax regulations. 4. Analyze financial data and reports to determine tax liability. 5. Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare and review financial statements and reports. 6. Provide expert tax advice to senior management to support decision-making. 7. Support the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions. 8. Assist with federal and state tax audits and inquiries. 9. Leverage knowledge of construction-specific tax code and compliance to maximize tax savings and minimize tax liability.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification is required. 2. 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporate tax returns and federal & state tax. 3. Proven experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus. 4. Proficiency in Netsuite or equivalent software. 5. Extensive knowledge of income tax, state and local tax, tax codes and compliance. 6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 10. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in business relationships.
