Local candidates preferred for regular onsite visits.Daily Responsibilities:Maintain and support enterprise data storage systems, ensuring Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR).Design, deploy, and administer secure storage infrastructure.Manage storage deployment, configuration, and performance optimization.Collaborate with management, project teams, and vendors, providing updates and support.Recommend and implement storage solutions based on business needs.Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Evaluate and enhance hardware/software and enterprise storage systems.Conduct proof-of-concept tests, validations, and generate reports.Configure and support data protection, disaster recovery, and migration strategies.Deploy and monitor storage tools, integrating third-party solutions with NetApp and Pure SAN/NAS systems.Analyze and troubleshoot security events, logs, and performance issues.Assess and mitigate security threats and technical risks.Develop technical documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and change management plans.Provide training, knowledge transfer, and roadmap presentations.Perform performance and capacity planning, generating reports and insights.Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and weekend maintenance.Minimum Experience:7+ years in SAN/NAS Storage Administration and Engineering.Extensive experience managing enterprise storage in complex data centers.Education/Certifications:Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.Certifications such as NCDA, CCNP Data Center, AWS Solutions Architect.Expertise Required:Design and support SAN, NAS, Object Storage with NVMe-oF, FCoE, FCIP, iSCSI, etc.Manage NetApp and Cisco MDS SAN systems.Support Microsoft File NAS, Active Directory, and cloud storage (AWS, Azure).Automate tasks with PowerShell, Ansible, Shell scripting.Implement Zero Trust security, storage hardening, and data policies.Monitor performance, generate reports, coordinate with teams and vendors.Ensure Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.Maintain documentation, SOPs, and provide training.Desirable Skills:Knowledge of VMware, Red Hat Linux, Windows Servers, Data Center networking, Cloud architectures, Kubernetes, and storage classes.Clearance:Security/background check required; ability to obtain Secret clearance.Salary Range: $145k - $160k annually.
