Agile5 Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect to lead the design, evaluation, and planning of complex technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders, assessing system vulnerabilities, and guiding technical teams through the full software development lifecycle, including SAFe Agile methodologies and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software development, architectural design, and a proven ability to troubleshoot and manage data migration processes.
Senior Solutions Architect Job Duties:
Perform complex and advanced architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operation to support system development, engineering analysis, and research.
Lead in the integration of processes and methodologies to ensure the performance of the total system.
Work directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex technical solutions related to a programs system and technical product development.
Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of scientific principles and practices in broad areas across one or more technical disciplines.
Maintain a liaison role for technical matters with staff and customers and act independently on technical issues within their field of expertise.
Support the Authority to Operate (ATO) and accreditation processes.
Utilize 10+ years of documented and demonstrated experience in a Backend Developer/Full Stack Developer/Java Developer role.
Develop, test, and deploy backend software in widely used programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Go, and Python.
Develop, test, and deploy client/UI (frontend) and server (backend) software in widely used programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, and .NET.
Develop, test, and deploy Java software using the latest versions of the Java Development Kit.
Understand system architecture and assess vulnerabilities and plans to mitigate them.
Implement and use backend frameworks such as Java Spring, Node.js, Go Gin, AngularJS, React, NextJS, NestJS, Spring, Google Web Toolkit, Hibernate, and Struts.
Apply experience with software development lifecycle processes, including SAFe Agile development.
Utilize knowledge of software design patterns and antipatterns.
Apply experience in systems design.
Utilize development tools such as Git, Nexus, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence, Crucible, Jenkins, Ansible, and Ansible Tower.
Apply experience in frontend, backend, and API design.
Lead multiple teams in technical design and implementation efforts.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix technical, functional, and performance issues in a cloud environment.
Design, plan, and manage the data migration process.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret (TS) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.
Experience Requirements:
10+ years of documented experience in a Backend/Full Stack/Java Developer role with a strong understanding of system architecture, vulnerability assessment, and mitigation strategies, coupled with expertise in designing and deploying software using languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript, and frameworks such as Spring and React.
Candidates should also have experience with SAFe Agile, systems design, a range of development tools, leading technical teams, troubleshooting cloud environments, and managing data migration projects.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline or equivalent.
Desired Skills / Qualifications:
AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, Open Group Certified Architect (Open CA), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications preferred.
A deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and extensive experience designing secure and scalable solutions across major cloud platforms, coupled with expertise in data architecture, integration patterns, and DevOps practices including IaC and CI/CD.
The ideal individual will possess strong communication and leadership skills, the ability to translate business needs into technical blueprints, familiarity with government standards like FedRAMP and the ATO process, and experience guiding modernization efforts while leveraging modern architectural styles and technologies.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time.
Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
