Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our Enterprise DevOps organization. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that support our development and operations teams. Enterprise developer toolchain including GitHub, Artifactory, Atlassian products, and AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor). The role requires technical depth and strategic vision to shape our tooling roadmap. Job Description: Your way to impact

Develop governance frameworks and security standards for our developer tools ecosystem Drive adoption of AI coding tools and measure productivity gains Establish metrics to quantify developer productivity and system reliability Mentor team members and align tooling roadmap with business goals

Your day-to-day

Maintain critical tools (GitHub, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence) Configure and optimize AI coding assistants Develop infrastructure-as-code for tool provisioning Implement security controls and monitor system health Consult with engineering teams on tooling best practices Evaluate new technologies to improve developer experience

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $123,500 to $212,850

For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
