ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing capital projects at LafargeHolcims Ravena, NY cement plant - a large plant cement manufacturing site with a crushing plant, vertical roller mill, preheater / precalciner burning system, 3 finish mills and truck / barge loading systems. Applies broad, diversified knowledge of engineering and construction principles and practices to project engineering in the preparation of complex engineering analyses. Makes decisions independently concerning problems within the project. The Project Manager will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelors degree / Undergraduate Degree
Field of Study Preferred: Engineering or Construction Management

Required Work Experience:
5 to 10 years of project management experience in heavy industrial environmental, preferably cement. Knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods. Extensive knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards.
Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Microsoft Project
Project Management certificate e.g. PMI or similar is desired Able to travel as needed for feasibility studies and supporting project managers Travel required +/-30-40% of the time. Mainly in the USA and Canada
