Job Description
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
- Track project costs, revenue recognition, and profitability metrics.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial alignment with project goals.
- Review and approve invoices, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
- Perform monthly reconciliations and variance analyses for assigned projects.
- Support month-end close processes by preparing journal entries and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Project Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience within project accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
