Senior Product Security Engineer

A leading global financial institution is hiring a Senior Product Security Engineer to join its product security team. This enterprise-level company, managing a multi-billion dollar asset portfolio, offers financial advisory services worldwide and supports a fully remote work environment. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with both development and DevOps teams, serving as a subject matter expert in secure software practices.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in both software engineering and cybersecurity, preferably with a background rooted in software development. A strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, Azure cloud infrastructure, and .Net development is essential. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing threat models, guiding security architecture decisions, and embedding security best practices into the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of experience in Product/Application Security 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Development In-depth expertise in Threat Modeling and Secure Design Architecture Proficient in Microsoft stack: Azure, .Net Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and across the SDLC Preferred Skills & Experience Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript Knowledge of automation tools and techniques What You'll Be Doing Technical Focus 50% Security Engineering 50% Software Development / DevOps Day-to-Day Activities 80% Individual Contributor Work 20% Team Collaboration & Leadership
