Responsibilities

Sales - Actively sells Merchant Services solutions to business andmercial clients. Leverages cross-sell opportunities through banker referrals for existing accounts, and participates in prospecting activities to acquire new clients. Analyzes merchant statements, pricing, hardware, and software to determine business needs and offer the appropriate product. Refers merchants to other departments within the Bank for additional financial services. Responsible for a high level of sales and service ability, mentoring less experienced associates and participating in advanced prospecting efforts. Operations - Partners with operations team to perform a variety of tasks relating to product and merchant needs, Responds toplex inquiries, addresses escalated issues, and services client accounts. Reviews merchant documentation andpiles additional information as needed. Training - Conducts ongoing merchant and associate training. Explains the use and installation of electronic terminals through coaching sessions, and educate merchants of latest fraud deterrent processes to minimize losses. Product Expert - Maintains strong knowledge of industry products including credit card processing methods and media, brand rules and regulations, andpetitor products and services. Utilizes expertise to rmend and explain best solutions for merchant hardware, software, and price structure during the course of sales efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Financial or Merchant Sales OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Financial or Merchant Sales

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum of 4 years of merchant sales experience

- Banking experience
