The Bloom Energy Finance team is seeking a highly motivated, independent, Senior Finance Manager with a positive attitude to join its Finance team. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Services and Installation Finance, and will have full finance ownership of critical Bloom Segment. Role will require operational focus and ability to connect dots across operations, manufacturing, contract terms and installations. Influencing skills and ability to drive organizational change will be critical to success.
Roles And Responsibilities
Serve as the principal business partner for Bloom's $9 billion backlog services segment.
Responsible for developing revenue and cost of goods sold forecasts and providing comprehensive analysis on these projections.
Develop forecasts, monitor actual and provide in-depth analysis on variances to forecasts for Revenue and Cost of Goods Sold
Provide effective and timely financial information, thoughtful business insights/analytics and business performance summary to ensure Operations Leaders are effectively managing to Operational goals
Implement process improvements to streamline forecast activities and to ensure accuracy of standards
Develop strong business partnership with Operations leaders
Lead implementation of systems enhancements and costing methodologies for improved decision-making
Assist in compliance with internal controls
Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis of strategic initiatives identified by senior management
As the principal business partner for Bloom's $9 billion backlog services segment, you will have a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategies. Your responsibilities
Strategize revenue to identify optimal opportunities for growth and profitability.
Develop revenue and cost of goods sold forecasts and provide comprehensive analysis on these projections.
Create forecasts, track actuals, and analyze variances for Revenue and Cost of Goods Sold.
The candidate must possess the ability to provide effective and timely financial information, insightful business analytics, and performance summaries. This will enable our Operations Leaders to manage their goals effectively.
- Implement process improvements to streamline forecast activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Build strong business partnerships utilizing strong ability to influence within the organization.
Lead system enhancements and costing methodologies to assist in better decision-making.
Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis on strategic initiatives identified by senior management.
Assist in compliance with internal controls.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required
6+ years of industry experience
Strong background in cost accounting and manufacturing related finance
ERP experience a plus (preferably Oracle)
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to organize complex and ambiguous business decisions, and to collect data necessary to conduct meaningful analysis to support business recommendations
Committed to high standards of accuracy and precision
Ability to independently manage work and timely delivery
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
Flexible within a rapidly changing, dynamic work environment
