Job Title: Senior Manager Experiences and Programs
Department: Ski & Snowboard School
Status: FT Year Round Salary
Reporting To: Ski & Snowboard School Director
Position Overview:
The Experience and Programs Senior Manager will lead, and is accountable for, all parts of Ski & Snowboard School Programs, Camps and Activity offerings. This role will be responsible for designing exciting new experiences that move beyond traditional lessons to create unique clinics, camps, and specialized programs that cater to diverse interests and skill levels. This role will be responsible for driving revenue by identifying and developing product opportunities that attract new guests and encourage repeat business, directly impacting the school's bottom line. This position plays a key role in driving the Ski & Snowboard school as a leader in education and memorable guest experiences. All these elements contribute in a significant way to the overall quality of the guest and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the financial management of all Ski & Snowboard School Season long programs, camps and other experiences that are not under the umbrella of retail offerings
- Work with the Ski & Snowboard School Director to meet or exceed all Guest Service, Membership, Sales, Safety and Financial Goals
- Partner and collaborate with Sr Manager of Ski & Snowboard School to ensure consistent and elevated experience for both guests and employees
- Oversee the successful launch and execution of all special programs, ensuring smooth operations, appropriate staffing, and resource allocation
- Conceptualize and develop new programs
- Work with instructors and leadership to design or refine the instructional pathways and curriculum for all programs, ensuring a progressive, effective, and engaging learning experience
- Monitor the quality of instruction and the guest experience within all programs. Collect feedback, analyze data, and implement improvements to ensure high standards and guest satisfaction
- Provide key insights and content to the marketing team for promoting special programs
- Coach, develop and retain top industry leadership and front line talent
- Know and model PSIA/AASI Skiing/Snowboarding, teaching and people skills at a high level
- Actively seek information on industry trends, competitions, events and remain involved with PSIA/AASI (or equivalent) IFSA, USSA
- Be proactively involved in company leadership opportunities
Requirements and/or Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Pass a criminal background check
- Strong organizational, communication and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent skills when dealing with guest service and employee relations situations
- Demonstrated leadership experience in sales, hospitality or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work and communicate cross functionally
- Basic accounting knowledge and finance skills
- Previous experience as a ski or snowboard instructor.
- PSIA/AASI (or equivalent) Level 2. Level 3 preferred.

Working Environment:
This role works indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be willing to work weekends, early mornings, evenings and holidays. The working environment is high paced and multi faceted.
