We’re seeking a strategic and driven Senior Manager of Business Development & Product Partnerships to lead our model partnership strategy - building relationships with top-tier AI model developers and emerging startups to deliver cutting-edge capabilities to our platform. Reporting into the AI business unit within the Business Solutions division, this high-impact role will manage strategic and tactical aspects of AI product and model partnerships. You’ll work closely with AI product leads, engineering, legal, and business stakeholders to identify, onboard, and grow relationships with world-class partners. This is a unique opportunity to join an entrepreneurial team within a global creative tech company, helping shape the future of AI-driven creativity. Key Responsibilities

Lead AI model partner strategy in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Legal and other stakeholders to align with AI product roadmaps and company goals.

Identify, negotiate, and close partnerships with major AI players and high-potential startups - unlocking innovation and early access to emerging technologies.

Own the full partner lifecycle from sourcing and due diligence to onboarding, integration, and performance management.

Represent Shutterstock externally to senior stakeholders at partner organizations, building credibility and strategic alignment.

Drive cross-functional execution by working with teams across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Operations to launch and scale partner integrations.

Evaluate and optimize partner performance, ensuring measurable business impact and informing future investment decisions.

Act as a thought leader internally by championing AI capabilities and partner innovations that advance Shutterstock’s product vision.

What You Bring

6–8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or product partnerships—preferably within AI, data, media, or technology.

Direct experience working with leading technology companies or AI startups preferred.

Proven track record negotiating and closing complex partnership agreements, working cross-functionally with Legal and other internal teams.

Strong understanding of AI model architectures, API capabilities, and how tools can be integrated into scalable product offerings.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels internally and externally.

Self-starter with strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
