Senior Executive Director - Assisted Living (Two Communities)

We are an owner and operator of assisted living communities. We are seeking a dynamic *Senior Executive Director* to lead and oversee the operations of *two assisted living communities* in North Carolina: *a 20 Bed AL in Conover (20 beds)* and *a 40 MC in Statesville (40 beds)*.

As the Senior Executive Director, you will oversee both communities and directly supervise their on-site Resident Care Coordinators. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, resident satisfaction, and team development.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide leadership and oversight to two assisted living communities.
* Be fully capable and licensed to step in as Executive Director at either community as needed.
* Ensure compliance with all state, city, and federal regulations, including Medicaid and Special Assistance programs.
* Oversee and support the business office functions including rent roll updates, social security collections, and billing procedures.
* Drive occupancy growth and develop/execute plans to meet or exceed NOI targets.
* Maintain strong working knowledge of local competition and market trends.
* Uphold high standards for resident satisfaction and customer service across all departments.
* Ensure the buildings, grounds, and operations meet company standards of excellence.
* Manage recruitment, hiring, and performance of community leadership teams.
* Spend regular in-person time at both communities (3–4 days per month at each), with the remainder of duties performed from home or corporate office.
*Qualifications:*
* *Bachelor’s degree* in Business Administration, Gerontology, or a related field (preferred).
* *Minimum 3 years of experience* as an Executive Director in an assisted living community.
* *Must hold a current NC Assisted Living Administrator license* or be eligible to obtain one.
* Strong background in Medicaid applications, Special Assistance, and Social Security collections.
* Demonstrated experience with business office functions including rent roll management.
* Proven track record in managing and growing occupancy, budgeting, and operations in senior living.
* Solid tenure and leadership history in senior living or memory care settings.
