The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Employee Development Specialist - Manufacturing Build Process to join the Learning & Development Production System Training Team located in Everett, WA; Berkeley, MO; Renton, WA; or Seattle, WA.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing processes and The Boeing Production System.
Position Responsibilities: Coordinate and identify training requirements for manufacturing, aircraft maintenance and re-manufacturing workforce Perform on-site evaluation of Boeing and supplier manufacturing environments and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and quality Assist Boeing and suppliers with establishing or recovery of their training function by cross-training team members, identifying facility and tools/equipment requirements Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide training and manufacturing consultation services Identify compliance processes pertaining to Employee Production Certifications, conduct Process and training area audits.
Ensure compliance with FAA, DCMA and Boeing policy requirements Ensures delivery of courseware complies with commercial, government, regulatory and organizational standards and specifications Occasionally perform as an instructor in a specialized content area from one or more of the following areas of Aerospace Skills expertise (Structural, Composites, Structural Repair, Functional Test, Quality, Systems, etc.) Provide extensive technical assistance in both formal classroom and hands-on training on Manufacturing fabrication, assembly and operations to business unit instructors Collaborate with stakeholders and service providers (e.g., curriculum developers, instructional systems designers, engineers, programmers, strategic learning advisors, etc.) to develop creative training enhancements, guided skills practices, job aids, capstone projects and activities to assist learners during and after training Emphasize safety precautions to be taken during training and in production Perform individual and group evaluations, and recommend process and performance improvements Lead projects designed to produce educational deliverables Travel 20% for business needs This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5 years of Aerospace Manufacturing and/or Maintenance experience 5 years of experience and/or training reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints Experience working and communicating with cross-functional teams Ability to travel 20% for business needs Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5 years of experience coaching and developing others 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance Methods and Processes Experience with Structure Assembly Experience with Aircraft Maintenance Experience with Electrical and Assembly Experience with Seals Professional certification(s) in aerospace manufacturing and/or lean six sigma Manufacturing Tools and Equipment Needs Assessment and Job Analysis Manufacturing Build Process – Order of Operations Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $96,900 - $131,100 Applications for this position will be accepted until Jul.
