Resource Innovations is seeking a Senior Director, Commercial & Industrial to join our team in Chicago, IL . We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Director with experience in commercial and industrial (C&I) energy efficiency program design and implementation. The role involves leading a portfolio of large-scale C&I programs, managing strategy, implementation, client relationships, and mentoring a cross-functional team. Duties and Responsibilities Manage client relations, co-manage projects, present results, and develop strategies aligned with client goals. Ensure quality of services, contract compliance, and performance metrics, while maintaining project schedules. Assess needs and secure staffing and resources, hiring as necessary. Maintain quality control, technical excellence, and clarity in all deliverables. Oversee project finances, budgets, revenue targets, and profitability. Support marketing efforts and new business development in collaboration with Business Development, Utility Account Managers, and the Software team. Provide forecasts for reporting purposes. Collaborate with senior management to ensure best practices in knowledge and program management. Conduct employee evaluations and oversee staff development. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be located in Illinois. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Minimum 7+ years of experience in energy efficiency or demand response programs for North American Utilities. Minimum 4+ years of supervisory experience. Ability to travel locally within Chicagoland up to 30% and maintain a regular in-office presence in Chicago. Interest in sustainability and environmental impact.
