Job Title: Senior Database Administrator

Overture Partners' client has an immediate need for a Senior Database Administrator. To secure an interview for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Must Haves:

5+ years in production DBA work across SQL Server/Oracle/AWS, strong schema design and indexing strategy, solid replication experience, and familiarity with cloud data architecture. Comfortable with modern SDLC/CI/CD, Terraform, and Git Excellent communication skills. Ability to solve problems fast, and operate independently in high-volume, multi-database environments. Nice-to-haves: Snowflake administration, FiveTran/HVR exposure, and Python.

What the Client Needs you to Do:

Senior DBA to own and tune a mixed estate across SQL Server, Oracle, and AWS RDS (MySQL/Postgres) with DMS. You’ll handle query optimization, indexing, blocking resolution, replication, backups/recovery, and overall health of production databases, plus deploy and manage AWS services like RDS, DMS, DocumentDB, and DynamoDB. Expect hands-on troubleshooting, proactive monitoring, high-availability upkeep, and occasional on-call support while working closely with DevOps, data engineering, and application teams on secure DNS/access controls and delivery goals.
