We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and improve business results. In this role, you will leverage SQL, Python, and advanced BI tools to identify opportunities, optimize key metrics, and measure performance across the organization. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to: Deliver accurate, timely, and impactful analyses that lead to meaningful business recommendations. Develop automated dashboards and reporting tools to improve efficiency, transparency, and self-service analytics. Maintain high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and reliability. Partner effectively with cross-functional teams—including operations, product, finance, and leadership—to guide strategy and initiatives. Communicate complex findings in a compelling, accessible way to both technical and non-technical audiences. Location This role is based in Needham, MA (Hybrid: 2–3 days/week in office). On the Plate Query and analyze large datasets to extract and communicate meaningful insights. Perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling within the analytics stack. Conduct statistical analyses, design experiment frameworks, and evaluate results. Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using SQL, Python, and BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Sigma). Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions. Produce clear reports, visualizations, and presentations for leadership and teams. Monitor and report on key performance indicators and emerging trends. Apply structured thinking and logical analysis to navigate ambiguity and prioritize initiatives effectively. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all analytic outputs. The Main Ingredients Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science) or equivalent experience. 5+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytical role. Proficient in SQL for data querying and transformation. Skilled in Python or R for advanced analysis and automation. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI). Strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills for presenting insights to varied audiences. Detail-oriented, with a commitment to producing high-quality, reliable outputs. Experience with dbt or modern data stack tools is a plus. Why Join Us?
